In 2020, our lives went through changes that we couldn’t have predicted even in the worst distopic movie. Covid pandemic hit hard, and Italy had the heaviest restrictions in Europe to prevent contamination. This is why celebrating the new year was impossible and our social lives changed. As future seems very uncertain I thought we could all use a bit of good luck in the new year, and possibly it couldn’t be worse than the one that was about to end. This is why I designed some lucky postcards to share with friends and family, wishing everyone a better new year full of fortune. And since we couldn’t see each other, I put them in they mailboxes. The postcards feature two icons of good luck in Italy, the four-leaf clover and the ladybug. They are the focus elements in two black and white designs representing natural scenes.
